Tennis champion Roger Federer has revealed that a relaxed family life - which could include using changing bags or dressing his kids in all in one baby suits - enhances his tennis success.

Speaking to ESPN after winning the Australian Open earlier this week, the Swiss said he is excited about his life at the moment - and that is not just down to his success on the court.

He said he "couldn't ask for more" from life at the moment, six months on from when his twin daughters, Charlene Riva and Myla Rose, were born to his wife Mirka Vavrinec.

Following the celebrations of his win over Briton Andy Murray, Federer went back to his hotel to share his joy with Myla, who was still awake.

"She couldn't care less, but I still felt it was a special moment to hold her in my hands, in my arm after what happened," the star said.

Last year, Federer hailed the birth of the twins as the greatest day of the couple's lives.ADNFCR-3005-ID-19597176-ADNFCR
