Parents taking their children to T in the Park are likely to need kids' wellies with heavy rain set to deluge the site this weekend.STV weather forecaster Sean Batty said there will be heavy downpours when the event kicks off in Balado tomorrow (July 9th 2010).
Persistent showers are set to continue throughout Saturday, with respite on the way on Sunday with sunny spells and less rain.
"Wellies at the ready," he said. "We're sure nothing will dampen the spirits of T revellers."
Those planning to take their kids' wellies to Scotland's biggest festival will be able to check out headlining sets from rockers Muse and Kasabian, along with an appearance from US rapper Eminem.
The likes of Faithless, Stereophonics, Editors, The View, Dizzee Rascal and The Proclaimers are due to take to the stage at the event, along with Vampire Weekend, Jay-Z and Biffy Clyro.
Held annually in the Scottish countryside, T in the Park has become one of the biggest dates on the UK festival calendar since its launch in 1994.
