The singer and X Factor judge gave birth to Ethan in her native Australia earlier this month (July 5th 2010).

In the snap of the tot, which was uploaded onto her Twitter feed, the star looks tired but happy as she tenderly strokes the little one in his infant baby carrier.

Dad Kris Smith, an ex-professional rugby player, also beamed in the family photo.

Minogue told her followers on the micro-blogging portal: "Hey everyone, thanks for all your wishes, we are loving baby Ethan and Kris is the best dad in the world."

The 38-year-old has kept fans up to date on the progress of her pregnancy using the site.

Earlier this year, she posted a pic of one of her first all in one baby suit purchases.

The fact that it was black and grey and featured a picture of a koala led some to correctly guess that Minogue was expecting a boy.

<![CDATA[Don't forget sun protection for toddlers on holiday]]> http://welliesandworms.co.uk/news/dont-forget-sun-protection-for-toddlers-on-holiday/
Sunscreen and insect repellent are essential items for children's travel suitcases, according to Fiona Joyce from the Panadol Panel of Dr Mums.

The initiative is being run by the drug company to remind mums and dads of the dangers their children can face on holiday if simple precautions are not taken.

Ms Joyce said parents need to pack a "capsule medicine cabinet" for their trip, which should include paracetamol and drugs to cure mild ailments such as stomach upsets.

Dr Sarah Brewer, who is also on the panel, remarked: "[Families] might worry about the stress of the travel but they perhaps might not plan ahead and think about common illnesses which they could easily take some remedies with them to help treat."

In-house research found that 61 per cent of Britons have suffered from common health issues while on holiday, including sunburn, colds and flu.

Almost one in ten admit to putting no medication in their suitcases.

<![CDATA[Take beach tents to Crete's 'beautiful' coastline]]> http://welliesandworms.co.uk/news/take-beach-tents-to-cretes-beautiful-coastline/
According to holiday firm cheapflights.co.uk, many travellers are drawn in by the chance to enjoy some much-needed relaxtion on the Greek island.

However, spokesperson Nadine Hallack said there is much more to the destination than sun and sand and recommended experiencing local culture.

Visitors to the island's capital Heraklion should check out the Samaria Gorge, the Matala Caves and the Arhane Village.

"The food is outstanding and the people are very kind - it's worth hiring a car to explore the island and experience Crete away from its beaches," Mr Hallack remarked.

More families may be packing up their beach tents and heading on holiday following England's early exit from the World Cup last month.

Travel portal TripAdvisor recorded a 41 per cent increase in searches for holidays the day after (June 27th 2010) the Three Lions' 4-1 loss to Germany.

<![CDATA[Child rollalong suitcases news: Families 'still love Spanish holidays']]> http://welliesandworms.co.uk/news/child-rollalong-suitcases-news-families-still-love-spanish-holidays/
According to cheapflights.co.uk spokesperson Nadine Hallack, the country is still best known as being a "fly and flop" destination for Britons.

She was reacting to a Skyscanner Flight Trends survey earlier this month, which found that Malaga, Alicante, Palma and Tenerife were the first, second, third and fourth most searched-for resorts during June 2010.

Ms Hallack said it is not surprising that people who endure a "less than idyllic climate" in the UK would be looking for some fun in the sun.

Commenting on what draws Brits in such large numbers, she added: "Spain's culture is as rich as its scenery – it would be a shame to miss the country's beautiful architecture, delicious cuisine and vibrant nightlife on any holiday."

Families packing up child rollalong suitcases may wish to go off the beaten track and explore some of the country's lesser known spots, something Ms Hallack also recommended.

<![CDATA[Take the toddler backpacks with reins to Tenby]]> http://welliesandworms.co.uk/news/take-the-toddler-backpacks-with-reins-to-tenby/
According to Lawrence Campfield from the Tenby Tourism Information Centre, the Pembrokeshire destination is perfect for a family break due to its wealth of attractions.

He highlighted Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm as particularly interesting, along with the Welsh town's gardens, galleries and castles.

Tourists could make sure their break coincides with one of Tenby's numerous festivals, including the Fireman's Carnival, which takes place on August 4th 2010.

"The most popular reason for coming is for the beautiful scenery and our beaches," Mr Campfield concluded.

Newquay is another seaside town which could prove popular with families who use toddler backpacks with reins to keep a close eye on their kids.

Earlier this year, VisitCornwall PR manager Teresa Timms said the town has spectacular beaches and is near some great attractions, such as the Eden Project and National Martime Museum in Falmouth.
