Those who use their toddler backpacks with reins in Tenby will be "spoilt for things to do".

According to Lawrence Campfield from the Tenby Tourism Information Centre, the Pembrokeshire destination is perfect for a family break due to its wealth of attractions.

He highlighted Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm as particularly interesting, along with the Welsh town's gardens, galleries and castles.

Tourists could make sure their break coincides with one of Tenby's numerous festivals, including the Fireman's Carnival, which takes place on August 4th 2010.

"The most popular reason for coming is for the beautiful scenery and our beaches," Mr Campfield concluded.

Newquay is another seaside town which could prove popular with families who use toddler backpacks with reins to keep a close eye on their kids.

Earlier this year, VisitCornwall PR manager Teresa Timms said the town has spectacular beaches and is near some great attractions, such as the Eden Project and National Martime Museum in Falmouth.
