Center Parcs is a perfect place to take the child rollalong suitcases to, if one expert's experiences are anything to go by.

Sarah Turner, a Daily Mail columnist, visited the Longleat branch of the holiday village to follow in the footsteps of celebrities such as Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley and singer Liam Gallagher.

The Oasis frontman visited last year, when he apparently "threw himself into the activities" on offer at the resort.

A large indoor pool could be perfect for trying out the kids' swimwear and water confidence toys, while there is also horse-riding, archery and zip-wiring on offer.

Ms Turner remarked: "Center Parcs offers nature without the inconvenience, with copious amounts of wholesome, vaguely hearty fun factored in."

Plymouth-based news source The Herald also recently visited Center Parcs in Longleat and said it was a great place for energetic adults and their kids.
