Singer Gwen Stefani is likely to have needed sun protection for toddlers at a recent family party.

The former No Doubt star attended a christening with three-year-old son Kingston and 20-month-old tot Zuma.

Zuma proved to be the life and soul of the bash, running around the garden in his outdoor baby clothes with dad Gavin Rossdale.

Sun protection for toddlers will have been needed as the tot stripped to the waist during the warm Californian afternoon.

His antics will not have surprised mum Stefani, who recently compared him to his older brother.

"Zuma is more of a show-off. He wants everyone to watch him - he's a goofball and he's really silly. He's a funny guy," she remarked.

His older brother Kingston looked sharp in a smart shirt and trouser combo at the bash, which took place at St Brendan Catholic Church in Los Angeles.

The christening was held for Stefani's six-month-old niece.

Earlier this month, the family were spotted with travel accessories for children as they took an Easter break to Malibu.

Zuma was kept content with a cuddly monkey toy, while Kingston stayed safe in the sun by wearing a straw hat.
