New mums - such as all in one baby suit customers - are bullied into important choices regarding the way they give birth and how their little one is fed.

This is according to the Daily Mail's Carol Sarler, whose daughter Flynn recently gave birth to tot Milly.

Ms Sarler said Flynn, who suffers from epilepsy, felt pressured to have a natural birth, despite the fact it can be dangerous for people who suffer from her condition.

Instead, she elected to have a caesarean, which consisted of "40 trauma-free minutes".

After trying and failing to breastfeed Milly, Flynn turned to formula milk, another source of scorn for friends, midwives and health visitors, according to Ms Sarler.

The journalist concluded: "I look at my sleeping grandchild and I wonder: are there really people out there so piously critical of her birth and so condemning of her diet that they'd prefer her to starve?"

According to the NHS, mothers should exclusively breastfeed for the first six months of a baby's life and consider carrying on past this period once tots have moved onto solid foods.ADNFCR-3005-ID-19610160-ADNFCR
